    Kitchen Pics

Wow, I was looking to do the same thing with my dining room (already got one picture up). But just as I was about to upload some more, the batteries failed. I think pictures like this are great, for us ordinary DIY folk. Edit, Mick, just went and looked at the website. As my Ozzy mate...

No problem, but feel free to shop around. I normally get my books from Costco. Re electrics. Its not a no no. Just a process that you have to follow. BAsically for DIYers like us. We would need to call in building control to sign off our work. Although some things are exempt. Theres plenty...

I've got loads of DIY books, which I use to cross referance each other. The two that I use most are the Collins book of DIY, and Readers Digest http://www.diynot.com/books/view/uk/c/dy After that do a bit of real world research, with regards to cost of equipment etc. Another tip that I do...

    Electrocution

As I said it was a guess, and hey I might be wrong. As I also said I would expect my tenants to do the sensible thing and call me, if they had any concerns. One minute you guys talk about safety and now you say oh its bonding. The guy has not said what colours are showing ect. So it looks...

    lights / bonding in bathroom

Damit, damit, So bonding the bathroom towel rail, and copper pipes back to the Water is not correct. When all I had to do was go to the lighting circuit, in the bathroom? Damit. Problem is, it's all tiled up and painted. So now I'm gonna have to hack into the wall to bury the cable.

    filling gaps after sanding

I had my floors sanded and filled the gaps. But guess what there are gaps, as wood moves in the different seasons. It also moves when you walk on it! I'm in the process of trying a clear silicon, to fill the gaps. Not saying do it, just saying thats what I'm doing!

    Electrocution

I'm gonna take a guess, that its rented accomadation. If it is, then get straight onto your landlord, and ask them. As they shuld have H&S certificate in place for the electrics. I expect no less from my tenants. But I guess I try to keep things above board!

    lights / bonding in bathroom

OK, lets keep this simple, cos I'm a simple kind of person! Now I would expect that the shower, lights ect, are already earthed as part of that respective circuit. So with that in mind, can you not just know what I queried above?
