Maybe so but what flow rate are you actually getting? True but getting a larger boiler with the intention to feed numerous taps is wasted if the mains supply is insufficient.

But more importantly what actual flow rate the cold water mains supply is.

Let the system go compleatly cold. Now run only the hot water. Does the pipe from the boiler supplying hot water get hot or just luke warm? Do either of the heating pipes also now also get hot? Did it work ok previously?

Not necessarily, if the vibration is being generated within either the pipes or the boiler then it could travel along the pipes in either mode. Have you tried going into the loft with the boiler running and trying to locate where the noise is loudest? A set of those engine noise finding type...

You have effectivly produced a 'sound board' so any noise generated by the pump is distributed through the joists. Shower pumps always appear quieter if mounted on a large concrete paving slab with a rubber layer under pump ans also where the slab sits on the structure of the building. So...

Is it fitted on a rear opening door? If so check the wiring between body & flap as probably wire broken due to continual opening & closing.

Why not just do all the required work but not make any final connection to junction box unconnected? Then on 'switch-over' day all you need do is move equipment and swap over connections into junction box. Thus minimal downtime and no risk to adsl speeds.
