hello again. no replys so i have decided to p.v.a. the walls to see if this will stabalise the lower coat of deteriorated paint. if this is succsessful is it possible to apply emulsion on top of p.v.a. or am i gonna have to overskim the walls?

Has anyone any ideas of what abrasive is used to remove stains on an enamelled cast iron bath? The bath is in use and the enamell is in good condition but has become stained in places.
