I had a job where cardboard had been wet on the pvc and left a brown mark, to get rid my supervisor told me to use a fine wet and dry sandpaper, then buff it after with bees wax, worked pretty well!

i presume its a 1.2 or 1.4 which if it is, it's not a major big job and i have seen prices roughly £60-90 to have it done, just be thankful u don't have a clio 16v like mine which is a 6 hour £500 job :shock:

have u tried disconeccting the power supply to the radio for a hour or so? it might reset it again, then hopefully should be able to enter the code.

word of warning when you do it, dont fit them too low, i went to a customers house to change a glass unit, i took it out and found this the screws were touching the glass, i'm suprised the fitters didnt shatter it when putting the screws in!

ha, not many conservatories have letter boxes, but there would be a fairly easy way to get them keys but obviously i won't mention that on here. I did mention to the home owner that it might be best to not keep the keys there. Wether she took heed to that i'm not sure.

is it kinda brown looking? sounds a good chance the head gasket could have gone, sorry to say it but from what i have heard (mainly from pug employees) the 307's are notorious for lots of things going wrong.

it looks like that but the sill is untouched, the door frame is about 4" away from the window, and he just got some plastic trim and cut it to fit round the window sill!

the clio's are notorious for leaky sunroofs (i should know i got one!) might be worth checking if the connectors are slightly rusty, clean them up, and a dab of wd-40 and see if it works then. other than that there may be something trapped in the rails or something is broken and not able to slide.

do you know the model number? might be able to find a wiring diagram online, i wouldnt 'guess' what the wires are you could potentially fry the head unit or worse case the wiring!

i think it's to help keep moisture from getting inside the unit, no need to remove it for fitting.

on a lot of french doors there are allen key adjusters which can be used to wind the door back slightly to stop it catching, or you can toe and heel which means packing the glass, as the door may have dropped slightly.

yeah looks like they should just lift off, the allen key screws are there for adjustment so shouldnt need to touch them unless the door is out of sqaure.

hmm sounds like whoever made it may have put sealant onto the wrong side of the glass, probably just easier to put it in as it was, then run some clear silicone on the outside face where the glass meets the door.

no probs, the toyotas are a good van but the seat is shocking, one guy had one was 6'4" and had to take the bulkhead out behind the seat to give him more room, thats great intill you brake sharply and everything goes flying into the back of the seat lol.

i would presume that you need to loosen the grub screws, then lift the door leaf off or knock out the hinge pins, depending on exactly what type of hinges they are.
