Is the DHW control stat turned up enough ? When hot water is called for the diverter valve should divert the flow to the heatslave tank. Try checking the operation of the stat and the diverter valve. Hope this helps.

The filters on oil nozzles are very fine and difficult to clean so i would always recommend a new nozzle.Make sure it is to the same spec. and size of the one recommended in the literature.

If you mean that the overheat stat is tripping then i would look at the boiler stat as being the problem provided that the rest of the system is working ok ie circulation pump.

Have you balanced the rads ?

the pumped shower you mention will need cws of at least 50 gals .

Sounds like the actuator is worn . Replacement may be possible without changing the whole valve dependant on make and model.

Hi, can anyone tell me if it's possible when changing an MV to just bung the F & E tank outlet and maybe the OSV as well or if i must drain down ? If i can bung , are there any good tips on what to use ? All help greatly appreciated, stix.
