    Thanks. The Lino is only off down for a couple of years until we get chance to refit the whole bathroom. I just didn't want the boards showing through the Lino after a couple of months.

    They didn't. They just cut portions out to make way for the pipes and then relaid them with a screw here and there

    Thanks. I take it the board can be cut around the basin / toilet. Wouldn't the joins in the OSB show through the lino?

    I've just bought a house and the previous owner had a plumber fit a new boiler. As a result he cut out some of the floorboards to make way for the central heating pipework. Dotted around the top floor are sections of the floorboards which feel like they will collapse through at any moment...

    Do I lay the lino directly onto the wooden floor boards or does it need some sort of underlay? This is for my bathroom
