    On the linea HE range its in the exact same positioning named as " drain valve ", why the compact hasn't this component named the same i don't know, but without arguing to me its a drain valve, and since using it i haven't had any problems with it leaking in any such way.

    lol, its about an inch horizontally right of the prv, and the prv is not a drain valve its a safety device...

    Make sure you aren't mistaken that the leak is just running or dripping onto this plastic pipe, never have i seen the drain valve leak on its own.

    What you have wrote they're sounds correct the heating comes on, cuts off due to reaching temperature, the " blue light " goes off. The green light indicates power to boiler. What is the problem does it not come back on?
