    Aerial Part

It states Forward gain is 11.3 dBd. That's not what I'd call "high gain". In fact it only just exceeds that of a V10-36L and, bearing in mind that 11.3 is the peak gain, its overall gain will actually be lower than that of the V10-36L, whose gain spread is almost linear across the band. Here's a...

    Aerial Part

To answer the original question, spare parts are not available for aerials. However, if you knew the make and model number you could trace it to one or more suppliers and ask them whether they have a damaged-in-transit aerial from which parts could be robbed. You might just strike lucky. To...

WF100 CAI certified cable for Virgin Media replacement?

Which whole thing? and what do you mean by "from the [?] on the box outside"? (I make typos, occasionally, but I try very hard to check my typing before clicking that button!) Note, again, that it's against their Terms & Conditions to mess with Virgin equipment.

    HDMI splitter

The power output of the USB socket is likely to be greater than that of the HDMI socket. However, I don't have the specifications available.

"-Support DTS, Dobby, 7.1 channel audio". Dobby support is good. I wonder if it also supports Harry Potter. ;) But, seriously, I didn't know that USB-powered splitters were available. That's a good idea.

Sorry."A grid jobbie" meant nothing to me initially. I see, now, that you meant a modular socket plate with all 4 positions filled.

WF100 CAI certified cable for Virgin Media replacement?

Well, I learn something new every day! But that "RG6xx" is way better than the UK variant, which nowadays has a steel core. RG59 is rather crappy stuff with 0.8mm copper centre core and aluminium screen. In fact, if you replace the RG59 with WF100, you can probably add around 30% to the length...

TV/Radio diplexer wall plates (UHF/VHF) here:- http://www.satcure.co.uk/accs/wall_plates.htm#diplwp Since they are available, I would guess the answer is "yes, there would be issues with not decombining". It depends on how well your TV tuner filters out radio frequencies and vice-versa.

WF100 CAI certified cable for Virgin Media replacement?

VM certainly don't use RG59 or RG6 (UK variant). WF100 is good enough BUT the VM system is rented and owned by VM. You are not permitted to rewire it yourself. If you do rewire it, you might have problems with signal loss in the extra cable. (A VM technician will normally adjust the signal...

    Common Interface Module

Moel-y-Parc requires a "group B" aerial but you'll probably get better results by using a V10-28L log-periodic aerial and a "group B" bandpass filter to eliminate interference from Winter Hill, Wrexham and Storeton. I think you mean FreesatfromSky compared with Freeview.
