If your that close to the transmitter tower you should be able to get a descent signal with a wire coat hanger! i would double check the connections first off, and make sure you've got them right. There are websites, and in fact whole forums much like this giving alsorts of detail about this...

Plastering a doorway, whats the gap?

If your having the whole wall slimmed then you can have the plasterboard flush to the level of the existing plaster finish, (don't forget to scrim the edges, although the plasterer will do that as a matter of course). If your just patching where the doorway is boarded over, then set the face of...

    Plasterboard Angle Bead

As previously said - tin snips. When you cut it make sure you don't try to cut all the way through... Cut just short of the rounded corner, Starting from the flat edge and cutting towards it on both sides so they meet up, but not all the way, then separate the two pieces by bending them until it...

    help with choosing a router

yoyo, I bought the same ryobi router a while back, and am very pleased with it!!! I also bought the trend sub base a couple of months ago, which is great. If you get it straight from trend, or a trend agent, trend will drill the holes for you, so it's ready to just fit. No need to worry...

    SCRAP METAL PRICES

To be fair, those british merchant ship were packed full of aid from the US. You could also argue that a major factor of the Nazi rise to power in the late 1920's was due to mass unemployment - a knock-on effect of the wall street crash in the US.....

    Magic Wire or Bookcase Strip

Not sure about the bookcase strip supports, but we have those magic wires at work, yes they hold the shelf up, but if you do overload it they tend to pull out of the holes and make a REAL mess of the holes in which the sit, and all around them. Personally i wouldn't TAKE money to use them...

    Which drill part?

You might find that a 5mm drill has the size stamped on it at the end. If not you could get away with an imperial equivelant ( I believe it's 3/16") If not you could measure the diameter of them with a set of vernier calipers, or roughly hold them up aganist a ruler , although it won't be...

    shiplap

I'm no pro.... When I built our summerhouse iI started at the bottom. Then the next one sits snug on top of the last ( so gravity is working with you rather than against you) Make sure you get the first one SPOT ON LEVEL AND at the correct height! or you'll end up having problems the...

    Patio help & advice

not sure if it's any help, but as far as point 3 goes, and depending on how the manhole is made up.... If it's brick you could maybe add a course or two of more bricks to the level you want. Or you can buy prefab concrete rings of differing heights, then get a manhole cover which has a kind of...
