    College* (Go back yourself?) You dont need to go to college for one day a week and work for 4 days to complete and NVQ... People will come out and sign off your work and in 3 visits they'll sign off your NVQ Level 2... similar process for your Level 3... aslong as you have the 6129's

    What makes you think i dont know the difference between the NVQ and the C&G6129!? I know exactly what the difference is, the 6129 is a prerequisite for the NVQ. the NVQ can be completed just as fast as the C&G itself.

    Which qualification that you have takes 4 years to get? NVQ Level 3? I can assure it it can be done in less than half that time :-)

    May be different above the border for whatever reason, but here (Liverpool) im 99% sure its copper only. Mind me asking what your RGI is charging you for running the gas pipe and signing it off?

    BG use copper only. Run your copper 1 metre down from the boiler before you attach to Hep. Fair play for wanting to do DIY, £4500 for that quote seems a lot. where do you live? did you get more than 1 quote?
