Which part does not look right? It comes out of s flange at a right angle then goes down 500mm on an anti gravity loop and back up to pump hot water? It was installed by a plumber 10 years ago

Oh when I bought it 10 years ago I was told it could be fitted above the cylinder? And it worked for 10 years, so when it started making the noise I changed it for the same model but it never cured the noise? So you are saying a negative Salamander RP100 TU will cure the problem? It impossible...

Hi I did connect a mains water hose from cold water tank and flushed out the cylinder then replaced s flange and took all pipe work from s flange to pump off too and checked it. If I run the hot water with the pump turned off it flows fine? So you would think if there was a restriction it would...

It's definitely coming from pump the pump stop and starts while making the noise too

Just ran a bath tonight and if you turn on hot water tap on bath it makes the groaning noise.( from the pump) Then run the pumped cold water tap on the same mixer and after 30 secs you can turn off the cold tap and the hot water runs fine? So what influence does turning on the cold tap have on...

The rinsing out was to ensure the pipe work was free of debris and the cylinder was filling up fine

The cylinder was rinsed out by a hose pipe in cold water header tank and a hose connection from top of cylinder to toilet. It serves 2 showers upstairs and one bath and three basins. The flow rate was very slow. No none of the plumbers did anything except say good luck! I phoned Salamander...
