No you must use at least 6 core alarm cable, its at most £20 a drum so dont cut corners. Also (one of my pet hates) do not cobble together multiple sensors on zones, its against BS to start with, and its a mine field if the alarm ever triggers when you have 10 PIRS hanging off it with no...

Just something to think about, camera will only record the event. If you were out for the day they could have a proper nose around. It should be coupled with an alarm as the alarm will deter/create attraction to the building if activated.

If you were under a maintenance contract with us, you would pay a reduced labour rate for any works needed. So for something like that, if you were local to us you'd only be talking an hours labour at most, that to remove, refit and test. If your not under any contract most firms will charge...

Your door contact is right. Bet its a pressure fault. Think of the break glass as your door contact. The silver screws are the C/NC and you should connect the tampers..... Or if you got the PIR working, the BG is the same in essence. Galaxys should be left to the pro's though, grasping...

Have to agree really. To remove a panic button will activate the alarm if you have no engineering codes, pressed button or not, as removing the cover will cause the same event. FUll reprog required now...... We could do that, 20 mins from Liverpool...... Probably lost a good chunk of the...

No In the main control unit (blank white box somewhere) there is a battery that needs changing every 3-4 years. Most people arent aware, but a rundown/exhausted old battery can cause lots of problems if not kept in check... Just something to keep in mind. Your current problem will be the...

Do you have a contact on the entry exit door (front door etc) Sounds like its failed closed to me so doesn't see the door open when its armed..... Also you'll need a battery if its not been done in the last 3/4 years.
