Just thought i,d share i have a Torrent thermal store H2 panel and gas boiler all working really well i know most heating engineers don,t know much about H2 panel,s but it,s quits good.

You may have to try the cheapest option with maybe a clean out with fernox what happens when you put the pump on one the bearings in my pump failed and changed noise with different temps.

Does it sound like scrapping or could it be the sound of the pump passing air through it it when does it happen first thing or heating on for a while.

When using pine you have to be careful of where the knots are which if painting it dosen,t matter which should have been discussed with the customer oak is lovely but pricey.

Wood plug cutters are normally used to fill in screw holes out of the same material makes for a nicer job.

Sorry Stuart turner pumps they are quite a few quid more expensive from looking at them personal prefference i suppose.

Hi again is that someone from salamander pumps' i am going back about 5 /6 years i have always used those pumps for all my applications obviously if its another plumber they may suggest something else.
