Both the kitchen and bathroom sinks have a loud gurgling when emptying. No sound at first but loud at the end of emptying. Neither seem to have vents on the traps, is that the cause? Any fix? Thanks

Hi I read newspapers on my solid, light wood kitchen table . Over time the ink has stained a large part of the table and has become ingrained in the grain of the wood. I've tried "orange oil" which had minor success. Any suggestions without having to sand the whole table? Thanks
