    The RF3 will only control heating, not hot water. Therefore the room thermostat and heating switched live need tio be removed - what don't you understand about that?

    Terminal 3 on the scr to the white wire on the 3PV. Disconnect existing room stat and heating on from programmer and just use hot water side - I think.

    Turn off all rads except the one you want to move. Attach hose to drain-off and open. Vent the to-be-moved rad until the hose stops running. You have now drained the pipe work and the one rad. Move the rad to wherever you want. Find your filling loop and slowly open and watch the pressure...

    Try fitting a flow restrictor in the inlet valve. You haven't just been converted from gravity cold water to mains pressure by any chance have you?

    Depends on whether it was the DHW pipe or the flow/return pipe. If you managed to solder a joint on then there couldn't have been much water in the pipe anyway. Why not just try bleeding the rads anyway, it only takes a few mins :)

    I used to fit Drayton digitsat 3's which are fine. Last week I fitted a Honeywell 7 day roomstat and it's the dogs doodahs - party button, next day off button, I'm away for the next xx days button - 45 quid.
