Their are no 105e just over 2 years old , must be about 7 or 8 years old, baxi finished makin em years ago , unless its the 105 HE , Anyway if you have water coming out the shreader valve instead of air the expansion vessel requires replacing, fit anew one or fit an external one ,job done :lol:

Sounds like sludge in heat exchanger, get some c,h cleaner in.

Time to stick up for the decent gas engineers, sick of hearing about folks that have no clue at all how to repair boilers telling a registered gas safe engineer his job...... Like it has been said you should ask for a quote to repair and do not hand any money over till its fixed,,,,,simples...

You will need new 3/4 fibre washers new 1/2 fibre washers and new o ring for bypass pipe, and be gentle with the primary flow pipe that goes upto the main heat ex,,,, may leak

Used to just change the pcb, have had e168 reversed polarity as well, My cure at the moment is fit new pcb and gas valve solenoid not been back to any with the same fault , :)

Duo tec , is a ace boiler but will suffer from time to time with the odd fault as will any other boiler from any other leading manufacturer, People try and compare them with back boilers that lasted and never broke down, we live in a different world nowadays :)

could be a couple of things, air bubble requires recharging, make sure if you have mixer taps fitted that the hot and cold are not mixing inside the tap, if you have rechrged the mega flo that the t and pr valve is not faulty by not shutting off correctly, I personally think that the mega flo...

just drain the boiler to do the job, and get new 3/4 washers ready for the new valve.

Depends what you want to pay,,, You can get a kit to do the job but i would get the whole valve, if one parts leaking like that you can bet the whole valve is ready to go.

sounds like the spindle has seized up, they cost 99p from wilkos

Think its page 15 in manufacturers instructions, installer should always fit mini expansion vessel and check valve to stop this fault occuring.

Main eco 30 is a cracking boiler, wellworth the money and has totally different heat ex to the duo tech, all you have to do is carry warranty on after the guarantee runs out and your quids in :D happy days
