i dont agree . if you leave the water on constat it should never cool down ? if you fit a valve with hot water priority then it would be worse. but as this is a general customer this is what i would advise because its easy and they dont have to start messing with controls.

as the title says .do we really think any of the manufactures are good or do they all need a kick up the back side to raise the quality and standard of their products?

just been on the viessmann installer training and it seems like a good boiler although i have heard a lot of bad press on there past models and customer support.

the filling point is not on the boiler . it could be anywhere . somewhere on the rest of te heating system .

dont touch them valves .leave them turned on all the time. then you need to find filling point . somewhere else on the system

in the picture the flow and return are turned off. there should be a filling point somewhere else.

we had the valves on earlier, that's what we're not sure of, if there's another filling loop somewhere else, thanks a million for all your help them valves are the flow and return LOL

would you fit a potterton or a main in your house ? i would say there is a reason they are so cheap . i havnt seen the new bbu yet what do you think to them?

when designing central heating good pratice is to fit any control on the flow to give best results . i have been to a number over the years and in my own house we have a trv on our toilet rad the room is always very warm in there even if you turn it down to 2 or 3 because of the reasons given.

you have to put you flush the pipework . what you used , temp on flow and return etc etc . many things that we do as the norm .but we dont expect you to understand. if it was that easy everybody would be doing it and there would be no need for RGI .

i havnt fitted one and i would never fit one been to alot of faultys one though.
