You may want to check the feed/expansion tank in the loft as the float valve may have become stuck? Or they may be sludge in the bottom of the tank, not allowing water to refill the centeral heating system. Hope this helps Rob

Open the lid to the cistern and check that the siphon is fully locked into place. as they can sometimes become a bit loose or from improper fitting.

I would drain the system down and leaving the drain valve open with a hose attached. Attach a hose pipe to the blocked pipe work and try using the main pressure to try and clear the blockage.

Is system plumbed is plastic or copper? What size is the pipe work?

I believe you need a minimum seal of 50mm to pass building regs. Is it possiable to fit another low level trap a bit further down the line? If its tight on the existing waste outlet. Hope this helps Rob 😃
