hello. y plan system heating and water work fine independantly. but mid position diverter valve doesnt go to mid position and provide both at same time. what could be the reason? cant be swollen/ stuck ball, prgrammer must be ok as ch/hw work , ?

hi. if a combi boiler was overgassed would the c/h and h/w simply get to temprature quicker and not neccessarily trip overheat/high limit stats? nots not on my acs im sure but just curious

hi guys coild you clear up 2 things before my acs mclarky flue not slealed outside = ar what about inside not sealed but outside bricked up? is extractor ventilation ok for cookers. cant see it corgi book but have a heard from a an engineer that its ok??? cheers

was also wondering. combi boilers that are overheating what is the usual first port of call for fault finding? system pressure, f and e not empty and pump working seem like the most obvious ports of call???

since many old boilers dont have fault lights etc is a digital thermometer placed on flow temp the best way to tell if boiler is overheating with these type of boilers? also. when i finish my acs after donkeys in army what stuff do you guys reccommend i carry round for breakdowns.? mant thanks

ive heard alot about gas rates /flame pics being affected by damaged injectors. wondering on a room sealed boiler how is it possible for injector to become damaged? thanks

i meant to say inlet pressure ok so pipe sizing os ok but poor dhw flow is due to mains reduced, scale in exchanger, blocked filters. thus gas rate affected but as long as its operating within min and max its ok ?

could someone explain the term boiler cycling? on/off/on?

although not in the acs that im taking next week im curious about one thing 1)combi has poor dhw flow hence the gas rate will be lower then the max specifed. in this case would you note the gas rate for the central heating instead? 2)in dhw mode on combi's does it matter if gas rate on dhw...

hi. iv just left the army and am taking my acs very soon. would just like 2 pieces of confirmation 1)to measure the gas pressure of cooker you attach u gauge to smallest injector on hob. turn on gas should get 18-20mb. but you dont actually light the cooker on the other 3 hobs? am i right...
