cheers for that Steve i spoke to a former spark at my work and he told me the same today. I didnt take a note of the old wiring (should have as im colourblind!) but he said locate the red to "L" (or "C" as it was before), Yellow to L1 and Blue to L2. I think this will work. Leaving here shortly...

Hi I bought 2 new light switches today for my living room. They are both Toggle type, Single 2 Way switches from B&Q. After switching off the mains, I removed the old switches and fitted the new ones. I presumed they would be an exact "swap-over", i.e the wiring would be "wire for wire"...
