There could be various reasons. Check all your radiators for signs of leak. Check on the outside of the wall that the boiler is on to see if there are any signs of water coming from the little copper pipe out there.

Apart from anything else a pump has to be fitted in a certain way - not just 'in' the existing pipe work. You will not gain by fitting one and your existing system is not suitable for a pump. Don't do it!

When it's colder outside it will take longer to satisfy the room stat (as I'm sure you realise) but the boiler should continue to fire until the room stat is satisfied. The temp indicated on the boiler is controlled by a knob on the front of the boiler. If this is set at a position where...
