    I need a bike!

Ok, less need, more looking for one ( that'll last forever! :) ) I went into the local Halford's, and had the best time ever talking to a sales person; when it comes to bikes, I haven't sat on one since the 80's! I genuinely need some help, as I know what my budget is, and that I want a...

    powercraft PBH-1500 washer???

In that case, hummmm.... Ok, how about buying a same model, on gumtree, 'for spares' and taking out parts that you need?

Cutting into a rendered frame around fireplace... how?

You can attempt it, if you have say a dremmel? Or an angle grinder with a stone cutting disc attached, just with this option you'd need all windows in that room, and a dust mask. Or someone with a vacuum nozzle pointed at the area where the dust flies off.

    powercraft PBH-1500 washer???

Parts list? The exploded view is the parts list; you simply ring the 'UK HELPLINE' and use the number reference to order the part you are looking for. Or if you just want to know what that part is called? Same number.

    Kitchen Unit Problem...why?

Most obvious one? If you ain't using the socket, then seal it off, simply cover the hole; my guess? bacteria in the stagnant air behind the unit is flowing into the storage area every time you open and close the door causing a vacuum? Looking at the 'spots' it looks similar to condensation...

Zanussi fl 1085 Washing Machine: How to remove top?

Just an idea. It's been ages since I saw this machine... If you place hands on the side of the machine, a cm below the lid? Using your thumbs push the top lid back... It should slide and pop backwards. Just reverse the action to replace it.

    Raised bed by fence

Thank you. I'd try and source some waterproof tarp/plastic sheet? Vertically stapled along the length of the fence, and Stanley knife cut to a desired height, ideally slightly over the fill level of the bed. Where joints would inevitably be made, simply over lap generously, and stapling tight...

    Can't find the leak

Dan-Robinson - the YTUBE uploader clearly stated , "...I was called to repair this Potterton Perfoma 24 boiler because it was not performing at all !. No wander the other Corgi engineer has taken the PCB ( printed circuit board) with him. During investigation, a leaking diverter valve is found...

Best paint and best painting process for new plasterboard bathroom ceiling

Easy. Two coats of 50/50 matt paint; Leave max 6hrs between coats, giving you a good key when the second mist coat rolls on. Watered down eggshell? Hummm, you are looking for a finish that gives you a key for your bathroom paint; gloss like paint is less likely to give a key. All contractors...

Mystery stains on external wall under concrete sill

Hummm, is that black gloss paint I see before me on the sill? Before you look at the stain, you'll notice that if you were to get a thin flat screwdriver in the corner of the bay window, where the cable starts to angle downwards, it will push it's way in; whatever it is, black paint that has...
