Is this switch fused, and what can I replace it with?

Thanks for that. I can't seem to find a 6 gang in a different arrangement to the one I currently have, They all seem to be 3 x 2, none 6 x 1. A couple of things - the current switches look to be an older style (narrower), than the ones I am seeing online which look a lot nicer but appear to be...

Is this switch fused, and what can I replace it with?

Hi, I have moved in to a property with this on the wall. It controls a pond, some outside lanterns, an outdoor floodlight and 2 spares for external junction boxes. I am having the wall plastered next week and want to replace this switch with something a bit more visually appealing -...

    Leaking Myson Premier HE Radiator

It wasn't heating up at all when it was leaking ( it was a tiny leak - one drop every few seconds ). When I tightened it up, about 1/10th turn, the leak stopped and it started heating up again. A few days later the tiny leak starts up again, and the radiator won't heat up! :?

    Leaking Myson Premier HE Radiator

Hi, cheers for that. Few things. What valves need turning off? Will a 'Focus' type shop sell ptfe tape? Where exactly do I apply the tape? Cheers.

    Leaking Myson Premier HE Radiator

Hi, hoping someone can help me out. Two weeks ago my sister had a radiator fixed which had been leaking. It is a Myson radiator ( don't know the model, but it is smaller than the one in her lounge - see below ). The person who fixed this replaced the bleed vent. Now her lounge one is...

Exploding ( very loud *bangs*) Potterton Promax HE Boiler

Hi. Right, I have just gone to try the jumper fix, but am not too certain what does what. J1 has no jumper, both 2 & 3 have jumpers. Below is a description on the page from the manual with the jumpers on it. Which of these jumpers needs to be removed to do whatever it was...

Exploding ( very loud *bangs*) Potterton Promax HE Boiler

Hi. Right, I'm just about to locate the jumper on my boiler pcb, and remove it, but before I do, would someone mind just answering me two quick questions? 1. I have actually noticed, that although the loud bangs do occasionally occur when it first fires up, it actually happens more often...

Exploding ( very loud *bangs*) Potterton Promax HE Boiler

Would you advise someone with no knowledge of boilers ( but who is fairly DIY capable ), to do the above ? ie, is it something 'doable' for your VERY average DIY'er, I have no intention of even considering that. :)

Exploding ( very loud *bangs*) Potterton Promax HE Boiler

Cheers, I'll get it looked at. It seems to fire up fine maybe nine times out of ten, it's just maybe once or twice a day that the *Bang* occurs.

Exploding ( very loud *bangs*) Potterton Promax HE Boiler

We had a Potterton HE boiler installed a couple of years ago. Everything worked fine, except there would be an occasional *Bang* when it fired up. ( This bang usually happens when it fires up after it has been off for a period of time - several hours ). We spoke to the person who installed it...
