    Hmmm what an interesting thread! Weep holes are put in at the end of cavity trays over lintels, with the ends of the tray turned up into the perp, so that ANY water whether it be from driving rain or rotten first row of felt (although highly unlikely nowadays from not using bituminous felt)...

    Agree with everything you say Noseall, but LBC's are murder in hot sunny conditions, you have to be quick with the jointing, otherwise they are terrible to joint, worth soaking them down with water before laying when its warm

    You want to check that there is any DPM in the floor, because it should have been lapped up and over the DPC on the internal leaf. Seeing the blocks below dpc in an internal leaf is a no no
