Hi, A customer has bought a property which has a modern alarms series 1000 control panel, need engineers manual, or information on how to change code. customer has present code but wants to change.

I have installed 7 satellite points and a quad lnb with 2 two feed all wires are taken to central location, i need an amplifier that will take input lnb1 and lnb2 directly and feed to 7 location without having to feed to 1 point and using rf return from satellite box. :shock:

you can use ip65 adaptable box http://www.screwfix.com/prods/14556/Electrical-Supplies/Cable-Accessories/Junction-Boxes/IP65-Adaptable-Box-80-x-80-x-52mm from screwfix, if you need to make a hole in back i use a closed grommet make a 20mm hole in back of box and feed wire through. 8)

Boiler does switch and makes some clicking relay noises, hot water comes eventually after running water for long time.

Central Heating working, but hot water taking long time to come and hot water is only warm is this the diverter valve ?

Personally its better to have 2 separate circuits. This is easier to label and identify in the event of fault. 2 x 6A mcb should be sufficient for each circuit, but should be confirmed by calculation from an electrician. Hope this helps.

Could be a faulty switch or loose common even. Best way to test is using a multimeter(dead circuit), isolate circuit from your consumer unit, and take measurements, in one switch there should be two wires ? If not then a junction box is used to do 2 way wiring.
