    When you say split load board, do you mean one with RCD protection on half of it? If so then if you wired the neutral to the wrong side then it will trip. Trying to understand how you have wired it. Is it possible you can post a diagram?

    I'd say the DNO might know as it looks like they have done something recently with the earth. (done in newer type braid and new block). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought DNOs would replace old bitumin filled cutouts for free. Use the "fused neutral" card on them as well, might get you...
