Where to buy primed MDF skirting boards...recommendations sought please

yes, saw them, but thought the price was very high. Maybe I should readjust my expectations but £32.75 excluding delivery for a 4.2m length of primed MDF skirting seems a lot of money to me.

How do I make my kitchen ceiling flat again after a leak?

Hi All, A while ago we had a leak from the bathroom which is directly above the kitchen. After it dried out I scraped the flaky paint off the affected areas and used Zinsser BIN on it. Now I'm left with a slightly different level between the good ceiling paint and where I've scraped the damaged...

    How do I repair this?

Thanks Johnny. Sounds like a good plan. I'll order some 5mm thick plywood from Wickes and build a 'box' which I'll screw / glue to the floorboards. Would there be any need to fill with foam?

    How do I repair this?

Thanks. One of my concerns is that you can see the floorboards go right inside the gaps too. Unfortunately, I don't have any scrap bit of plasterboard and don't fancy buying a whole sheet. What would I use to plaster over the holes once I've put a brick or two inside?

How do you repair chipped paint?

Thanks for the reply opps. I'm pretty sure it was an oil based finish but the last time the windowsills were decorated was years ago. Nowadays I tend to only use water based as the drying time is faster and the cleanup of the brushes is so much easier!

How do you repair chipped paint?

I've got some Ronseal 2-pack epoxy wood filler but thought that may be a bit over the top but I'll take your advice and use that.

How do you repair chipped paint?

Thanks Andy but what filler would I use as the chips aren't very deep (primer plus a couple layers of top coat deep) at all and I was concerned that any kind of wood filler wouldn't have enough depth to 'grip'?

How do you repair chipped paint?

Hi All, Some of the paint on our indoor windows sills has chipped off and I'd rather not have to strip the paint off the entire sill. What do you pro's suggest as to the ideal method repair? Cheers Daz
