I'm just laying very yellow vinyl in kids bathroom... Door in is from a hallway that will be carpeted, where is it best for gripper to sit? I'm thinking it has to be where my ruler is sitting? Otherwise you'd see the vinyl from hallway..... Cut vinyl off here now, or glue down and cut later?

This diagram is pretty much my system plan, albiet with two ufh manifolds.... Can anyone advise as to where expansion vessel should sit? Filling loop? Preassure guage (or guages?) And, should I fit automatic air venting valves? If so, where? Many thanks for any input...

I want to cut a deep rebate out of an old lump of oak.... It was originally part of a roof truss, but I want to reuse as a decorative lintel over an internal doorway (not one that will have a door hung in it)... The ceiling levels are different on either side of the opening - hence rebate...

Er, I think I'm missing something here! Can anyone help? I've got this Bristan 2 outlet shower mixer, but no installation manual. I can feel that one knob controls the temp, and the other is the diverter, so can tell which way up it goes.... So can deduce which outlet is which.... But, how...

When plumbing a shower what size fittings do you use for overhead and wall mounted outlets? I'm assuming half inch male thread, but maybe not?
