Ive looked at the grids, but Im using art deco themed switches so wont match really. I was considering a four gang on one wall and a single one on the other, not all together. He's been pretty helpful & patient so far, hes just doing other jobs while I sort out what I need to complete the work.

Thats an idea, but I have my eyes on some with a single step which have the toggle option or theres another manufacturer where they have a double step, but no toggles. (trying to go for an Art Deco feel). Not sure what would be best. Im guessing the ones on that site are cheap and cheerful...

Cheers mate, its a rewire job. I considered the fingerprint proble, well no kids so should be ok. Other option is to have the front a satin chrome and the edge a polished. I have a chrome mobile and yes the prints can be a problem, hhhm decisions.

Yep youve hit the nail right on the head. Thats just it I assumed they would do them the same a all the othe houses, they did the openers the same as the wrong sized old pvc units, basically said they sent CAD drawings but I didnt get them. Probably would have picked it up if Id of seen these...
