Its worth checking the rules on the water ban. I heard on news the other day you could not use hose for cleaning car but could fill a paddling pool and swimming pool! I have a feeling jet washing was ok too, but it could be a regional thing. Worth checking with the local water board before you...

When ever i've tried to do it they end up just looking dead! I think you can get some crystals that you can put them in and then put them in microwave .....i have a vague memory! maybe a florist shop may beable to help. You could always try gassing them!! :lol:

If they have been in a long time I wouldn't bother watering, we don't water ours. (But if you have plant round them the plants will need some as conifers drink alot) We only water the new ones. We have just had to replace some of ours as, the previous owner didn't look after them, they became...

I heard that you can cause damage if you remove the trees too as the water that the trees take up is no longer being removed or something like that ( :? ) so best to see a tree surgeon!!

As far as I know most conifers do not regrow. Do you know what type they are? Leylandii are the common ones. They don't re grow. so where it is brown it will stay brown. You need to make sure you don't cut too far into the green so it has something to grow from! Brown can be from things like dog...
