I will be away for a while over the next couple of weeks and wanted to turn off the water just in case we get a late cold snap. But I wanted to leave the CH to come on only if it gets very cold...turning off water at the mains doesn't affect a combi's operation does it?

it does seem really powerful(there's noway you could have a tap on full for example)....but I've no way of testing
