Wiring method for multiple LED Strips from single source

I see, sorry total noob at electrics here. So essentially run a bunch of boxes in the cabinets instead of splitting. But the splitting up where the shelves are does that look sensible ? Rather than wiring them all in series, like an S type pattern. Up, right, up, left, up, right etc.

Wiring method for multiple LED Strips from single source

Yeah perhaps you’re right. I was hoping to have one source so they can all be controlled together. Ie led strips come with a remote control usually. So when I dim them down I’d want all the lights to dim rather than 4 remotes if that makes sense!

Central Heating Issues - Rad water looks 'creamy' could this be a blockage?

It’s a system boiler and it was ON when I bled it yeah. So assume pump was on full whack. I read somewhere to force the air out, turn all the other rads TRV’s off and turn one on at a time and bleed individually. That’s what I was doing in the vid above

Central Heating Issues - Rad water looks 'creamy' could this be a blockage?

Well funny you should say that. I did notice some very weird spluttering and spitting when I was bleeding earlier. 13 of the rads bled no problem whatsoever. Rad #2 and my towel radiator (bypass) though, really felt like lots of air was coming out at the same time as the water, if that makes...

Wiring method for multiple LED Strips from single source

Hi all, Wiring question for what will form part of a media room for me. Thinking of lighting the alcoves under the shelves with LED strip lights plus diffusers. I want them all from the same source so a single switch/button press will affect them altogether. I'm certainly no spark and never...

Central Heating Issues - Rad water looks 'creamy' could this be a blockage?

Yeah i'm starting to think maybe it's just inhibitor or chemicals in the water from a recent service or something? It was serviced a week ago, though frustratingly i never tried bleeding into a container before then so can't compare. though interestingly, other CH circuit we have in the house...

Central Heating Issues - Rad water looks 'creamy' could this be a blockage?

Sealed as in all the stuff is inside the boiler, pump, expansion vessel etc? In that case yeah. Nothing external on this other than the magnafilter, and hive control box to activate the boiler. Has no valves or diverters or bypasses external either, just 28mm flow and return for the first...

    Bypass valve

Hey @Madrab Do you know if the Worcester Greenstar Life 36kw System boiler has an Auto bypass valve or not? Couldn't see mention of it in the user manual.

Automatic bypass valve required or not?

Will adding an automatic bypass help the rads get to the temperature? I'm struggling to get all mine hot and wondering if this will help. What did you mean by this @Nige F ? :-)

Central Heating Issues - Rad water looks 'creamy' could this be a blockage?

Setup - Worcester Greenstar 8000 system boiler, CH Only, powers 14 radiators, and no hot water (that's powered from another boiler) Hi all, I'm hoping to get some help diagnosing (and maybe solving!) an issue i'm finding with our CH system. These are the main symptoms i'm noticing:- :- One...

Best way to fix these gaps around the window frame?

I’ve also noticed this inconsistency between the window / frames. Anyone know what this black sticky out bit is and whether that could be contributing to the draught? The frame on the other side of the room doesn’t seem to have a this..? Thanks agaib

Best way to fix these gaps around the window frame?

thanks @Koolpc By gaps do you mean the larger chunks missing or for all the gaps between the frame and plaster in the images above? Also what would you finish that with? Caulk or sealant ? And by frame gaps do you mean on the last image above?

Best way to fix these gaps around the window frame?

Hi all, I've noticed our recent rear extension has been getting colder / retaining heat worse than the rest of the property, so decided to investigate the doors and windows. On closer inspection noticed a lot of draught coming in through gaps between the the higher up fitted window frames and...

Parquet Flooring Problem & Refit - Advice Needed -

Hi there, looking for a bit of advice and guidance on this one on next steps etc. For a bit of background, we had a engineered wood tongue & groove parquet floor fitted back in September and since then it's just felt weird to walk over, it creaks and pops, has some bounce in parts of it and has...

Worcester Bosch Greenstar Regular Boiler - Always ON

update - looks like the service engineer had moved the hot water valve to the manual position.... essentially making a demand for hot water constant. not looking forward to my gas bill this month!

Worcester Bosch Greenstar Regular Boiler - Always ON

Sorry not technical, not sure what that means. if the timer is not calling? What timer? this is on HIVE. And demand wise; this was probably clear on the video/description above but i'll say it again. :- The flame is not on and hasn't been on for 48hrs, there is no demand currently but the...

Worcester Bosch Greenstar Regular Boiler - Always ON

How do you mean? it will consume gas each time it fires irrespective of the fact its constantly running something right? am i not better just to turn it off at the wall until we have a demand for hot water?

Worcester Bosch Greenstar Regular Boiler - Always ON

Morning all, I've noticed very recently that our Worcester Bosch Boiler is constantly ON and making a fair bit of noise. The flame is not on, but certainly sounds like the pump is running, AND the water temperature does seem high considering we've not had any demand for it for a good 48hrs or...

I should’ve said on the previous post - FYI it was the coating had been done wrong. Basically been done on the wrong side for those 2 panes.
