    If the resistance to ground is lower straight through the scaffold than it is through a human body and a steel building, in theory you should be ok. (Though I'm not volunteering to test it) ...just asking for trouble?

    LCD TVs chuck out a lot of heat - you'd probably need to maintain a (dry) airflow through the cupboard to stop it overheating.

    Isn't it safer to leave the lights unprotected by the RCD? There must be a greater risk of injury by having an elderly person's house suddenly lose all light than from a fault on a lighting circuit?
