    PLEASE Help Me !!!!!!

I have turned off the cold water supply in the loft to both the bath mixer tap and the basin tap. Neither is running cold water but the hot water is fine. Is this correct to eliminate the bathroom completely ?

    PLEASE Help Me !!!!!!

It is not a bath shower mixer , it is just a normal hot & cold mixer tap that is fitted to the bath. That is why I have an electric shower.

It IS mains to the bath but if I turn off the stop cock , which is in the loft , will this cut off the water supply to the bath basin tap as well or does the bath generally have its own stop cock ?

    PLEASE Help Me !!!!!!

No , I forgot about that. I will have to go into the loft to turn off all the cold water to the bathroom (due to the tiled bath panel). Should turning it off for 15-20 mins do the job ? If so , I will try it when the water starts overflowing again.

    PLEASE Help Me !!!!!!

I have tried to turn off each individual cold feed today buthe hot water nothing stops the water. Only the old sure fire way off running the hot water tap (to reduce the water level in the storage tank) will stop it. What next guys ?

Yes , a plumber changed the ball cran and readjusted it the next day after the ongoing problem continued. The water is definately not coming from the ball crane. It seems to be coming back in from the hot water feed at the bottom of the main storage tank.

Definately mains to the bath mixer. As for the NRV in the airing cupboard , I thought about this as well as fitting one to the pipe feed to the bath mixer in the loft.

The boiler is a MYSON Apollo Fanfare and has a small header tank in the loft , which sits at the same height next to the main cold water storage tank. The problem started out of the blue without any prior work being carried out.

It is the large water storage tank in the loft that is overflowing. It does it pretty much throughout the day ie. at no specific times. The water in the storage tank was luke warm before the new cylinder was fitted but the water now is cold but it is still overflowing. I have tried it...
