Thanks Spraggo, I have turned off the boiler, and hopefully be able to get repaired tomorrow. copper pipe going into a plastic Tee must frozen and popped out of Tee. Looks like no damage to copper pipe so am hoping to repair tomorrow. Ceiling is looking a bit wet at moment, hoping it will dry...

just investigated even further, GOT A BURST!!!!!!!no wonder there is no pressure ther is no water in the system, all over ceiling in the lounge!!!!!

Got a Valliant Combi, no hot water or heating. Boiler pressure needle is down on the zero??? Tried to top up, no change??? Can anyone offer any advice or possibly solutions???? Used this forum back in Feb 10 and resloved my problem then so fingers crossed :)

Took your advice and ordered an new air pressure switch, abd have just fitted it tonight, and hey presto all working.. Again thanks to The 831Bunny and Agile for your help. Cheers. And as I said before, keep up the good work, would be lost without you!!!!! Marie

Will the replacement Air pressure switch be a simple removal and replace, or is it more complicated than that???

Hiya, I have a Valliant Turbo Max Pus combi boiler, and seems to take 4 or 5 ignition attempts before the boiler lights. I have cleaned the burners & the electrodes as it originally was not igniting at all??? Wondered if anyone knows of anything I can try??? Cheers

Just want to thank whistler, his suggestion cured the repeated firing. The model we have is the Turbox 824. When I try to bleed any of the radiators, alll that comes out is water, no air. Is there a easy way to free up the stats if it is that they are stuck closed??

Yes, they worked last year, but the one has played up before, could be the termostat vales then???

Any other suggestions re the the two cold radiators??

Thanks for the replies, will try the hot water control setting Whistler, we were having problems with the hot water last week, and may have set this by turning the hot water control all the way up and down again. The system pressure is just above 1.5

We have a Vaillant combi boiler, and have two problems?? First one is the pump (I think) keeps cutting in even when the is no call for heating or hot water, continues alll through the night?? Second, two of the radiators will not get hot, tried turning all the other radiators off and leaving...
