    No it never went 'BANG' just as soon as i tried it the 1st time, it just turned them on/off and not dimmer? have tried it on another light switch, and still same! Think it might be the dimmer!!!

    just looked and total is 120W. I have a Low Voltage 250W dimmer?!?!?!

    L1 has one live and ~ has the other one connected to it? Just 2 bulbs, NO idea what the wattage is though?!?!?

    I have just tried fitting a single dimmer and it will only turn on and off, NO dimming though???1 Anybody help pls?? :roll:
