I have used speedfit with copper and have had great success. has anyone connected speedfit to chrome pipe? Does it grip? leak? also can you solder copper to chrome pipe?

I had the same problem with my old seirra and I changed the clutch mechanism and it was perfect afterwards.

sometimes the contacts in the switch stick so that water keeps filling. I would replace it but make a not of which wires go where. (are you sure that the pipe leading to the switch hasnt got a tiny crack or hole in it)?
