RCD FCU tripped when fitted to CH, likely reasons?

I'm not sure why you weren't measuring the difference in current between the L and N, like the RCD would be doing.

    Mystery Box #1

I used to have a Krone block installation like that (just the bit on the right) because I worked on a commercial key and lamp system so most of us had one at home (cough cough). Basically a small exchange with a phone in every room.

Digistat +2 keeps changing to wrong time

If it's mains powered, there may well be a backup battery inside which may be flat. Don't actually know as I don't have one of these.

EICR - Hob and Oven Connections

The point is that anyone who manufactures and sells a piece of mains driven equipment is legally obliged that if that equipment fails internally it should not create damage outside itself that was preventable. Setting a house on fire because they wanted to save money on a fuse is not acceptable.

Hisence induction hob sitting proud of worktop - is this normal?

All the pictures on the manufacturer's website show the top plate flush with the work surface. Does your hole match this: https://static14.gorenje.com/downloadProductFile.ashx?file=69e66d0af34c8a1184a8e780ceb523b0_206914_fp.jpg

    10A vs 13A (treadmill)

It will be fine - that's about 6A for the treadmill.

    Solar PV fault 'isolation failure'

Have you considered the possibility that there was nothing wrong and that PV not working well when it's really dark is caused by lack of light? If you're determined, why not try the other string. You might find that works too.

What size drill bit to get 2.5mm flex cable through masonry wall?

I was going to say the same. I always use 20mm round as it's easier than drilling oval holes.

    Riello burner lockout.

The reason I'd start with the capacitor is purely down to cost. Pumps are more expensive. If you have a decent multimeter you could measure the capacitor value, for free. If you could spin the fan by hand then it seems unlikely that the pump could be stopping it. However I am not a boiler...

Thinking of installing a marine boat toilet

The dinosaurs died out 6000-ish years ago because they were not allowed onto Noah's ark. Australia doesn't exist. Travel to Antarctica is banned by NASA. No matter how high you go the horizon is always flat - (even though the edge of a flat disk would actually be round). Nobody died from...
