    i have put the first coat of thinned matt emulsion on and now wondered what i should use to fill all the imperfections before sanding down. stuff i have lying around is- finishing plaster, caulk and filler (think its wood filler). or is there something better i can buy. thanks so much...

    hi, just a quick question. i have some cheap b&q value silk emulsion. would it be ok to use mixed 4/1 with water for priming the plaster. i then intend to use dulux emulsion for the final coats. just wondered if it ok to mix different paints. thanks gav

    we have just had the ceiling plastered in our bedroom. (used to be a garage). in the ceiling was a metal support. (1 inch wide) anyway the metal has begun to rust and mark the plaster. is there anything i can seal it with before painting that will stop the rust seeping through. many...

    thanks guys. trouble is i already have the trv and it is not bi directional. anyway when fitting the new radiator which is on the same wall do i just replicate the original one i.e same pipe to the same side of the radiator. i felt the pipe from cold and one gets warmer first so i presume...
