You are not supposed to have any valves between expansion vessel and system. Can you not freeze the pipe? Or if you can close off any auto vents and drop the pressure fully it might be possible to swap, perhaps by still plugging pipe temporary while you struggle to fit new vessel.

No. I just took from it that this virus can potentially survive fairly long periods from test results. Particularly the airborne risk I noted. Really though all I need to know at present. Keeping myself isolated

Think it just is the science way it is tested, - half life period, then half again, etc, repeating until gone. All we need to learn from it is the worst case lifespan. So 72 hours the virus is still in theory infectious at 72 hours on plastic surfaces, but not much beyond that. 3 hours lifespan...

Has to be just to keep the masses from going berserk. I can survive without alcohol, so all a bit strange to me. Sad that people are unable to live without regular doses of what is really something our body function doesn’t need. But easy said I know for someone not addicted at all to it.
