    More Terrorism

Corbyn, to the best of my knowledge and recollection, never once said the police or army had “no other choice” when occasionally an IRA terrorist was shot dead. Different laws seem to apply in Corbyn’s world.

    Ignorance and laziness have won

I have noticed this forum does have a lot of philistines. (that means people that are uneducated) ;) Text speak hasn’t helped. I mainly blame primary school education.

    More Terrorism

Not trying to be rude, but what qualifies you to claim that most of the police could never pass the firearms training? And there are different levels of firearms training. (Only the specialist armed police require extreme training). Most of the rest of world have armed police, so why would most...

They would just have to learn. It isn’t that difficult to do the basic firearm training on handguns. I know in real world that firearms are cumbersome, dangerous and a huge responsibility to carry.

    More Terrorism

That is exactly what my jibe about armed police was aimed at, - the police being inadequately protected against criminals and terrorists and therefore leaving the public also unarmed and unprotected. If that were to continue, then the public should have the right to arm themselves. It almost...

    More Terrorism

Surprised you said that! Lots of people make excuses about terrorists - from the political activists types, to the more naive types of the public. I have heard that said, but the numbers of police supporting being armed will increase where and when it becomes essential. Police are obviously...

Actually on your side Fillyboy. :) I was only having a jibe at the crazy thinking of those that make excuses about terrorists.

    More Terrorism

Yes, I was just quoting comments the loonies from we had in the past. :) Most police in the world are armed and now the U.K. police have to be.

    More Terrorism

Should the police be carrying weapons? Is carrying weapons not offensive? Why kill the man when it would have been possible to disable him? Would it not have been possible to hold talks with the people who support or carry out attacks? The murdering was political. At least that has been said by...

Unvented Cylinder showing signs of rust

Discharge pipe D1 is wrong judging by your photo. 600mm maximum to the tundish is standard rule. Your plumber if G3 qualified and experienced will know and would be able to easily pipe it properly, especially when a new unit is installed.

Barmy Labour expect us to plant 200 trees a minute!

Corbyn is going to have all the chopped down trees collected and made into fence timber.

Unvented Cylinder showing signs of rust

The 25 year warranty only applies if the unit has a yearly service record. I think on that cylinder the outer insulation case is mild steel, but the inner stainless steel cylinder, or one of the joints must be leaking. If proved to be a fixable joint or fitting leak, then that would be fine just...

Barmy Labour expect us to plant 200 trees a minute!

Corbyn will be an expert tree planter as has years of experience at digging holes for himself :p

You plebs can't even spell Pinocchio

Ironically you do not require any education to be a politician, - and many have little or no qualifications so I don’t see what the argument is.

So who are you going to vote for?

No doubt about it, the Tory government have failed to improve the NHS.
  16. R

Is this real proof Tories are flogging the NHS?

I watched Barry Gardiner just crumpling under questions from Andrew Neil. Another very embarrassing interview for Labour. Not often a journalist, (even one with the abilities of Andrew Neil), can destroy completely what should have been well thought out statements. A sign of things to come...

So who are you going to vote for?

I just remember it was said the NHS was neglected and parts of it under bad management while we had Labour in power. So little different now.
  18. R

So who are you going to vote for?

That is correct. I deliberately used the word, as we don’t actually have Brexit or agreement.
  19. R

So who are you going to vote for?

Have to back Boris to destroy Corbyn and get Brexit begun. As for the NHS, - since when did the Labour Party do a lot to help it? Tony Blair and his party had a long time in power.

Grant Vortex 26-36-s Pro Utility Lock Out

The OP also stated it “takes hours to come back to life”, so that does sound like the boiler is overheating and once high limit button is reset it would take a while before boiler starts up again if system hot. The thermostats on Grant boilers have been known to go faulty recently
