    Aco drains

90% of ACO’s are bodger onto the drains. Have they sat it ontop of the old drain and cut a hole in the bottom of it so the water flows through?

What have you been doing today?

I sat with my son while he stripped and lubed his keyboard buttons and made endless lube jokes. He kept putting the lubed ones to his ear to test they were done right. I’m sure he is the milk mans :cautious::LOL:

    Drainage pipe hidden under conservatory

I would put a 4D360 on it. You will have to remove the hopper and might need to lower the 4” a bit to get the lid on with a socket under it. You could also just cap it off with a socket and cap end. OsmaDrain Plain Ended Rodding Eye 110mm 4D360...

    DIY drain smoke test

I put the smoke bombs on a metal tray sat in the manhole channel. You might not see the smoke but you will smell it so it’s best if one person sets off the bomb and puts the lid back on the manhole, then someone else stays inside to check for the smoke/smell. When I do this on my own I often...

    Artificial grass installation advice

I’ve done mine today. I’ll let it settle then either skim over with more grit in a couple of month's or give it a wackering next time I hire one at work.

    Artificial grass installation advice

I’ve got a budget 40mm roll end for this bit but in a couple of other parts of the garden I have a more expensive 40mm which is better looking. I got all of it from Facebook marketplace, the better stuff was supplied incorrectly to a woman near me but the supplier didn’t want it back so she...

How to raise a gully by 15cm using an adapter or something

A tall plastic hopper and an AC4000 (y) Or even better, a 4D900 with a bit of 6” pipe to raise the lid.

    Artificial grass installation advice

The last lot was down a couple of years before we moved, it was on maybe 30-40mm of sharp sand that was on soil. Grano is more like mini MOT so would be better. I nailed it to a timber surround and I chose timber because it’s easy and cheap. At this house, I only bought the grass yesterday...
