chris have you never had a baxi 105 that whistles??? i fit around 2 per week and we had loads!!! you know when you put the jig on the wall, then pipe the boiler up. when you re-fit the boiler on the jig and connect the last remaining chrome pipes to the boiler... have you noticed baxi...

i think the problem is your gas valve pressure. You need to mke sure the INCOMMING pressure is correct and the OUTGOING pressure is what the boiler needs. The baxi 105 has a similar problem with this. I would bet my life this is the problem. check the valve pressures... chris i thought that...

sounds like the heat exchanger or stat. you might need a new stat they dont cost much for solos. The stat doesnt seem to be cutting off. by turning the stat to 1 or 2 would be the same as a new stat at 3 or 4. Try as the last perosn said turn it down but start thinking about a new stat before...

i agree take it to around 1.4 or 1.5 some combi boilers still work on 1 bar but the light comes on early around 1.2.

that could be down to the spillage device. when it cuts off does it light back up again or does the LOCK OUT button come on and you have to re-set?
