hi there got this monkey puzzle tree,had it about 6 years about 18 inches in height. i have noted over the last couple of months the whole tree slowly becoming burnt especially the bottom branches. (looks like somebody has set a blow torch on it)

bath waste runs parallel with the wall under the boards,trying to put the shower in the right han opposite corner, can you use 22 dia plastic/copper pipe and use a adaptor to reduce the fixing then drill the joists?

Can you help? want to fit a shower is it ok to drill through the joists in the bathroom to join up the shower waste with the bath waste pipe? not really keen on skating around the skirting to join up./
