vented central heating system. pipes banging when hot water switched on and water and steam coming from expansion pipe into header tank also some rads upstairs need regular bleeding. i suspect this is gas/corrosion in system. any ideas please

forgot to mention the radiators appear ok arent these fed off the header tank and the hot water fed off the main tank to the emmersion boiler

how can i tell if this is the problem

when i put my hot water on the pipes start banging really loud also i can hear the water being sent up by the boiler(vented system) as though there is air in the pipes. i was reading on a forum that it is poss it is the ballcock in the cold water tank. any ideas please as it is driving me scatty
