As the boiler fired up yesterday morning, he doesn't think it's the new motor he fitted on Friday at fault. He did adjust the 3 grub screws for quite a while and did loosen them a bit as they were too tight but then after that we had 3 morning lockouts. That's why he thinks it was the pump...

Dont hear anything not even the initial start up just slight buzz then lockout. Yes did come with new capacitor. Engineer has said he will try another motor? General comments like 'he's a plank' don't help unless you explain your reasons for them

I need to fit an immersion timer but unfortunately the plug for the immersion is on a double socket which also used for the shower pump. Is there a plug in timer I can use instead?

There was already a NRV valve on the pump it was just replaced as had stopped working so how would it be the NRV? It feeds another shower which is right by the hot water cylinder. The NRV was replaced to stop the 'ram-rodding' - the pulsing noise when the shower was turned off.
