If you are not sure of what you are doing you should not be doing it. That is an open flued appliance if things are not done right it could be a death trap.

Its a gloworm hxi but you can alter the output by adjusting the fan speed, can 't remember the code but very difficult to get the air out of. Leave the boiler stat on the frost setting until it begins to circulate.There is a temperature cut out inside the boiler on the return if this has gone it...

If newly installed and problem can not be fixed, tell bg you want a new boiler as it will be under warranty bg will get it of wb anyway.

Go for wb best boilers you can get, get the cdi if you can afford it.

I loved working for bg only left for the money, I was installing though not servicing. Worked with some amazing engineers and some not so good, when you employ that many people thats the way it is going to be. Support and training is superb and the standard of most of the work is very high...

I agree with corgiman worcester bosch are the best, 28i greeenstar junior for tighter budgets CDI for those who can afford it.

BG do not normally fit 24hxi as they have got the 330 which is an hxi which has the ability to vary the output using the fan speed. The 24RI will moderate itself down to the load required as it can be fitted on 22mm system pipe work as long as the load does not require 28mm pipe work but...

Normally just fit external RF2/3 cheaper but work well.
