Would go for the worcester never had a problem, can't praise them enough, ask how much extra the 30 cdi would be brilliant boiler.

WB say the RI needs a 22mm connection because the gas connection on the boiler is in 22mm, WB say it should be that size all the way. The hxi has a 15mm connection, dependent on gas pressures and flow rates supply can be left in 15mm.

Never seen a valve on an o/v I would get someone round to reconfigure your system asap p.s open the valve

The junior is a good boiler but if you can afford it get a wb 30 cdi defiantly worth the money.

Buy yourself an olive cutter about a tenner

I would always go for worcester, ask bg for a price on there rd 532, (bg badged cdi) will be a bit more money but worth it if you can afford it.

never had a problem corgiman, disc is normally still attached to pipe when section is removed, saves time in the long run (no mess to clear up)

I was suggesting the self cutter to drain the system down then cut out the small damaged section of pipe and replace with a compression tee and drain cock. Just an idea rather than sitting next to a radiator with a tray full of water wishing you had an empty one, as fitting will not go back...

might get away with tray but if the water is black and there may be a lot of it spend a few quid and buy a self cutting drain tap.

Had a similar problem tried to use and old cylinder return had, so much crap even after flushing had to re run pipe anyway.
