    That should've fine mate. I take it your a normal house and not 3stories? What is your incoming main size? Material? If it's mdpe (plastic) you would be better changing the stop tap to a 22mm outlet and supplying the cylinder with a 22mm feed. 15mm is acceptable but 22 is better

    Pressure is important with this type of system. More so tho is flow rate. Do you have a standing pressure if 2.5bar or working? How long does it take to fill a 5 litre jug?

    cap it off mate, it will be fine. If your worried, get a 3"x2" adapter and fit a 2" AAV at the open end

    i know mate, I prefer copper but to be honest, nowa days you have to fit plastic to be competative especially on new build. I can 1st fix 3 x 3 bed houses on my own in a day with plastic. Copper and im down to 1. Most plastic companies give A 25YEAR garauntee.

    Personally I would bin the header tank and fit a vessel,gauge, blow off and loop as suggested. What number is the pump on? More than likely sucking in air as said. Also is the pump running?

    Here you go mate. You want a ec002 mechanical one will be easier to fit for you. The pushfit is intended for cast but the mechanical ones fit just the same. The fernco one will also do the job and will be a stock item however they don't look the best. Your choice really...

    Just thought on, you could also use a propper 4" cast coupling. Can't remember who make them but drain Center could order you one. Has two cast half's and a rubber band seal. This bolts over the seal. Would be slot easier for you that way and will look fine painted. See I I can find you a link

    More than likey cast mate, Id cut it out from the fit a cast-plastic adapter then re-fit it in plastic. Pretty simple tbh. The easiest option is a band coupling but as said bud they dont look too nice.
