Leaking compression joint on a rad valve

It means if you have a small header in the loft yo block the pipe over the top 22mm and the 15mm outlet on the bottom of it. This creates a vacumn. Are you sure its not comin from the tail that connects to the rad then and running down the valve?

0.5 bar working pressure, 15 litres per min cold main

They do mate but as i said earlier i think they need a min working pressure too as they need a 1,5bar pressure difference. So a min of 2bar (this could be standing i cant remember) The one in the link uses a pump, which makes me think it's W.P?

    Planning New Boiler an Rads

running the rads say 60/40 is effectively reducing the heat ouput of the rads, so fitting a slightly smaller boiler will have the same effect only it will work harder but more likely to be in condense mode. What does AFAIK mean bud\?

    Positioning of pump (orientation)

Why a pre-heat mate? How big is the house? You could always use a thermal store.

    Planning New Boiler an Rads

No i get your point completely mate. If the house requires 30k you give say 40k rads and 30k boiler. Therfore its undersized and produces a lower return temp as its working harder. I would generally fit a slightly smaller boiler to an existing system, again there are factors to take in...

2 gloworm boilers in parallel both producing fault codes f25

We could really do with a pic/s mate tbh. Depenant on the size of the cylinder, that should take say 15-20k btu out of the equasion. How long do the boilers run for? Could well be suffering from reverse circulation. 22mm isnt big enough mate. The fact that he didnt want to notch the...

2 gloworm boilers in parallel both producing fault codes f25

Pipework undersized for sure. Pump definately undersized. LLH will certainly cure your probs. The heat from the boilers cant get away quick enough, you need to be carfull as you may warp the HEX's. If the house is in 22mm then it will not transfer 60kw away quick enough. The fact you have...

    Planning New Boiler an Rads

Your not getting my point tho mate. Turning it down isnt going to Give you your temp differential. Slightly undersizing will almost garauntee it. The rads should be sized right for the house or over.

2 gloworm boilers in parallel both producing fault codes f25

Sounds like the return temps are too high so fitting the NRV's may cure that bit. When linking two boilers i would most certainly be fitting a LLH and shunt pumps or a reverse return setup. Another idea would be to fit another pump on the return to give the cooler water a bit of a push. I...
